Take Nakagawa
Head Chef, Takeyuki Nakagawa believes in “No borders in cooking” as he creates new WASHOKU (traditional Japanese cuisine ) with local ingredients while preserving Japanese tradition.
Born in Mie Prefecture, Japan, he honed his skills as a sushi chef by training in gourmet destinations around the world including Singapore, Dubai, and Tokyo.

Yoko Suganami
Japanese Sake Sommelier, Yoko Suganami promotes Japanese Sake in Hawaii and California through strong local partnerships. She specializes in arranging sake menus and organizing sake & food pairing experiences.

Mitsy Murata
Wine Sommelier, Mitsy Murata enhanced her knowledge through studies at CIA Gray Stone and an internship in Napa Valley. Collaborating with American wine associations and major companies, she extends her expertise as a judge.
General Manager

Nobu Miyazaki
The General Manager, Nobuhiro Miyazaki studied in Seattle, USA for five years and obtained a culinary license upon returning to Japan. He worked in various restaurants in Japan, gaining valuable experience, before opening his own restaurant in Hawaii in 2017.
Leveraging his experience in restaurant management that he learned in Japan, he will deliver the finest hospitality to his customers in Hawaii.
